National Catahoula Bulldog Registry

NCBR Mission Statement

American Bulldogs and Catahoula Leopard Dogs are used to produce a Catahoula Bulldog. NCBR accepts two types of registration: Regular and Breeding Stock.

The NCBR offers a Certified Breeder Program, designed to be an outlet for the public to find reputable and responsible breeders.  NCBR also offers a unique title called Champion of the Field in which dogs may work towards their own kind of award doing their daily “job” at home.

The NCBR will host working and conformation competitions for Catahoula Bulldogs. The dogs may compete in conformation, hog baying, treeing, cattle work, blood trailing, obedience and agility.

The Catahoula Bulldog is a recognized hybrid produced by crossing the Catahoula Leopard  Dog and American Bulldog specifically.  The NCBR is the only single breed registry dedicated to the Catahoula Bulldog as a hybrid breed, and we are fully committed to their preservation.

Dependable.  Dedicated.  Distinct.

The National Catahoula Bulldog Registry (NCBR) will strive to preserve the true Catahoula Bulldog by adhering to quality standards and providing an accurate and valid outlet for registration and documentation of the lineage and achievements of the dogs within the organization.
